I read the help a little slower than I read most novels. Not because it was entirely boring and long but because it lacked that drama and lustful romance of those novels that keep you running back for more.
The story was categorized as “historical fiction”. Basically, it’s a story that makes you believe that what you are reading may have actually happened….only it didn’t. The author threw the characters into a realistic setting and time frame with references to real historical figures…
Okay, I’m so damn late on this TrueBlood ordeal. I have heard people rant and rave about this show and I had NO CLUE what it was or what it was about. So one lonely night, I decided to do what I do best: Google It. It turns out it’s am HBO series about vampires living in a small town co-existing with humans. So I started to watch them beginning with Season 1. This was on a Wednesday. By Friday I was done with seasons 1 & 2!! And I am now caught up with everyone at Season 3. WOW. Srsly, I watched two full seasons of TrueBlood in 2 days!!! It’s official, I’m addicted.
